GIBRANIAN

.
I would not feign my longing,
Nor do I lament Pinchot's journey
... it still stands. Say rather,
Why regret the forsaken journey,
Which cannot be taken up again.

I do not feign the desire of knowledge,
Nor the longing to own that experience.
Moreover, why the bitter heart,
Which insists to shackle semantics?
Experimental is indeed superior to experiential.

From behind veiled dreams,
You echo in the dark.
And now, do not hide your face from me;
But if you should need, I shall honor your intent;
However, for pity's sake, share with me your voice.
